thanks Mark. I was really excited about this one. I shot it on Memorial Day and was anxious to get it out there.

Beautifully shot. I was hooked the whole way.

And the way you captured the sound of the birds and the environmentals was spot on.

Definitely going to pass the word out about your blog.

Nice job building up. That jabbing hand and voice really got me! Looking forward to more!

What a statement. A friend of mine just emailed me the link to your videos. I moved out of the Kensington area about 10 years ago. I watched them and absolutely nothing has changed. Now, living in a small, midwestern, ideal town...having to look back on where I came from was devastating. Unfortunately, all of my family still remains there. Your work is very admirable and causes your viewers to pay close attention. Nicely done.

Good stuff David,

Go down to Frankford Terminal or Sommerset Station you should get some good stuff down there. You keep filming I will keep watching.

an ongoing video project by David S Kessler

Shadow World is a project I am currently working on. Set under the el tracks in north Philadelphia, it is an exploration of this unique, fascinating and often intimidating space that (at least for this year) I call home.
